Description
This is an album cover designed for a former local band called "Scaredactyle" (they split up before they got the album out, so it's still available if you're interested in buying the art... just throwing it out there...lol)
They asked for:
"A punk guy, trapped in a car, in a post apocalyptic city, surrounded by zombies and wolves, with fire and goo gushing out of fire hydrants..."
At first I was like, "you're joking right?" but they were like "nope!"... So then I said "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!" I had NEVER done anything like it, or had ever drawn a zombie in my life! LOL
So I drew by hand every element on a separate page, inked it, and scanned at 300dpi. Then I colored and layered everything in Photoshop. It was my first digitally colored comic-style art ever. A starting point for me, as I will be doing a comic book this year, using the similar techniques.
