Mystical Tree

Before applying any paint to my canvas, I used a glue gun with hot glue to make the tree's texture, and some of the leafs (which I laid the canvas flat, and made rounded beads). After a few minutes, the glue sets and cools, I paint over.

It took me aprox 12 hours to paint this, because I had to make sure I covered over all the angles of the texture (no white spots), so it took longer than it would normally on a flat painting.

I like Sunsets and Sunrises, so I went with a warm sky color for this piece to set the tone.
